11. Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

I really do regret putting this movie as high as I did, so I would actually switch this with The Descendants, so disregard it being 11 it is actually 13. But this movie was an extremely impressive action movie that ACTUALLY delivered! Well for nowadays it kinda did. It was the best strictly action movie of the year, filled with great popcorn fun, creative situations, and impressive stunts. But that is all it is. No emotional twist to it, it is just an EXTREMELY solid action flick. On IMAX the scenes were just breathtaking, it was a true experience. The movie could have used some destruction to be a truly exhilarating action movie, but just the creative and thrilling scenes really worked. It was more a thriller than an action movie I guess. But it was great fun, and I really enjoyed the ride.

Best Thing About This Movie: The ENTIRE Dubai scene I was holding my breath, on the edge of my seat and sweating bullets. It was the definite highlight of the movie.

Worst Thing About This Movie: Really could have used more actual action, and some kind of attempt to be more than a thriller.
